Fraser
King's natural artistic ability is self-evident. Where
he excels is in the atmospherically charged emotion of
his painting, capturing the idiosyncrasies of people's gestures
or posture with accuracy, his use of the contrasts of strong
light and shade contributes to the vitality and interest
of
his painting. From the tranquillity of his park scenes
to
the cosmopolitan buzz of café and street scenes,
to musicians bring their instruments to uniform pitch in
his
orchestras
in rehearsal, all capture the emotion of the moment in
time.
