Welcome
to Taylor-Pick Fine Art, one of the North's leading Art Galleries
Taylor-Pick
was established by Andrew and David Pick in 1996 and has flourished
as a Gallery built upon foundations of quality. We hold paintings
from established British and International Artists through to
new up and coming Artists, which we consider worthy of exhibiting
their work with us. The focus of the Gallery is to provide work
by Artists with integrity and of undeniably high quality.
The
Gallery
In
April 2005 the Gallery relocated to our new premises in North
Bar Within Beverley. Our new premises
are situated in a large suite of offices above J Barbour and Son.
(Barbour Jackets). The Gallery occupies over 2500 square feet
and this allows us the opportunity to show more one person and
mixed exhibitions and to present quality work in a beautiful 18
th Century building. Our stable of Artist has grown and we now
intend to have up to eight exhibitions per annum. These exhibitions
will consists of one-person shows through to mixed exhibitions
showing the best in Yorkshire, UK and continental Europe.
ARTISTS
The
Artist represent hail from all over the U.K Ireland, Spain and
Germany. We sell paintings from £250 through to £35,000.
Many of our Artists represent investments for the future.
As
a serious Art Galley we exhibit many different artists and subjects.
The overall aim is to show Artists of quality. Work on display
varies from abstract through to wild life. Our Artist work in
a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastels
and mixed media. Sculptures tend to be created from wood, bronze
and some metals. The majority of the work we offer is by contemporary
artists, however we also have work from late 20th Century Artists,
recent acquisitions include Frederick William Ellwell, Peter Collyer,
Charles Neal, Graham Hillier and Pablo Picasso.
Artists
Represented include: Joan Beltran Bofill. George Hainsworth, Gordon
King, Deborah Donnelly, Fraser King, Clive Jebbert and Peter Bell,
Granville Walker and Jessica Brown to mention a few.
Alongside
our Contemporary work we will also be providing 19 th and earlier
20 th Century work, which will bring a more comprehensive range
to the Gallery.
SERVICES
Taylor-Pick
aims to provide a bespoke service to clients. We are happy to
assist in the selling of paintings through the Gallery or through
Auction Houses, our confidential service is open to all.
We
would advise clients or potential clients to view paintings initially
in the Gallery and then we would recommend that we bring the painting
or paintings to view in your home or office. Should you be unable
to visit the Gallery, paintings can be viewed in suite without
any obligation to purchase.
As
a matter of course, we offer a full conservation, cleaning and
restoration service. We can also frame and reframe existing or
new paintings to match any décor requirements.
We
also advise corporate customers on investment in art including
matching the needs of the business to the art required.
We
would like to take this opportunity to assure our clients that
our service does not end with a purchase. We are always reviewing
the status of our Artists and will advise our clients accordingly.
For
many clients a particular painting / sculpture will give life
long pleasure, however we do recognise that lifestyles do change
and therefore we are committed to providing a service to clients
who wish to sell or replace with other work.
